The scoop: It all began in a one room log cabin with a dirt floor.

OK the real scoop: I began playing paintball about nine years ago at a company outing. That was the start of my compulsive obsession with paintball. It started with two markers, grew to more then a dozen, which exploded into running a paintball field. I can’t get enough Woodsball play. Speedball and hyper-fields have never been an interest to me.

I’ve been lucky to find a great bunch of guys to form a team with, and we are all on the same page, make it fun, promote the sport, and ‘o ya have fun!

The scoop:
I started playing indoor recreation paintball. Then I found out there is another world of fun out there in the woods. Me and the boys started hanging around Field 51 before the official opening and loved it ever since. I love the short games, long games, scenarios, big games, pump games, snow games. Pretty much anything paintball is fun. The coolest sport anyone can play.

The scoop: I set up a bachelor party at Field51 in Gorham and have been hooked ever since. Bought my first marker the following weekend and went back for an open play day. For me paintball is my escape from every day life. I enjoy the physical work out of it as well as the mental toughness that you need to have to play the game. I love trading paint, and I am no way afraid of getting hit. Most of the games that we play are re spawn, so why not take that extra chance and if it pays off then you feel rewarded, otherwise you are back in with in a few minutes to try it again.

The Scoop: Started playing locally at an indoor field that eventually closed down. When they were in their final days I looked for fields in southern Maine. I noticed Field 51 and decided to check it out. Since the first day there I've been hooked on woodsball. My roots are in the inflatable jungle, but I'll play any kind of paintball there is, whether it be speedball, or a long full day scenario, paintball is all the same to me.
